January was quite fun around these parts. We partied it up, experienced crazy Alabama weather, and spent an evening at one of our favorite venues.
On New Years Eve Heath and I spent the night out with some of our favorite friends and family and spent New Years Day getting ready to go back to work/school.
On January 7th our Crimson Tide played for the National Championship...and won #15!! Roll Tide
I became an Otter Box fan when my iphone took a tumble off my car going 70 mph and sat out in the rain all day only to find it {my phone/not the Otter Box} in perfect condition. If you don't have the app "Find my iPhone" download it..NOW. Not only did the Otter Box save my phone, but the company sent me a brand new one for free. #otterboxfan
We had our first snow day in Alabama for the winter. I would actually call it a dusting but around these parts that is a big deal. My mom actually made the comment, "You might want to run to the store and get some bread and milk." Um.. no ma'am. We survived it, without ever raiding the grocery store. Crazy, I know.
AR and Westin's school let out earlier than mine so their Nana went and got them for me. With all the excitement, neither one of them had a nap and so my much anticipated afternoon of playing in the snow was short lived...Really short...Like 15 minutes. The kids were done. AR cried the whole time and Westin got upset because his hands got too cold. It was pretty though.
The last week of January started with the rodeo and the kids loved it. It was way past their bedtime when we finally got home but it was well worth it!! We look forward to it every year!
We also went to a birthday party for one of our favorite One year olds, Easton! His mommy put together a precious "Time Flies" party! Easton didn't feel very good but he got lots of lovin'!
That was January for us!
