Alvin's Weekly Adventures

Santa sent our elf, Alvin, on Sunday. He magically appeared, laid back in Daddy's recliner. When we left for our last Thanksgiving feast Sunday night there was no sign of him but when we arrived home he was here, completely reclined and waiting on us.

Of course, Daddy reread the book before bedtime and afterwards we brainstormed what crazy, mischievous adventures our crazy elf could get into. AR felt that Alice was the perfect name for our elf but Daddy was insistent that he was a boy. They agreed on Alvin.

After AR and Westin went to bed we had a long talk with Alvin. We made him promise that he wouldn't make too big of a mess or do anything too crazy during the week. It's the least he could do after we saved him from having to live with the name Alice for goodness sake. He agreed and promised to leave his antics for the weekends.

So where has Alvin been spotted this week?

Sunday night - Relaxing in Daddy's recliner
Monday - Swinging on the curtain rod
Tuesday - Keeping warm in AR's stocking
Wednesday - Riding on the reindeer
Thursday - Watching AR sleep
Friday - Hanging ornaments in the Christmas tree

We are a little nervous about what could happen this weekend. We are expecting the unexpected :)
