Friday night, we went to dinner at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen! Although we waited forever and AR had quit a few come aparts, our dinner was amazing and worth the wait and the fits!
Saturday, we had breakfast at IHOP, took care of a few things that needed to get done while Heath and I were together, spent some time poolside, and then went to Sea World that evening. Sea World has summer night shows so we were pretty excited to see it all lit up! I was a little anxious as to how AR would act since sitting still is not something she loves to do right now.
The first show we saw was called Azul. It featured beluga whales, dolphins, tropical birds, acrobats, and aerialists. It was absolutely breath taking and by the look on AR's face, it was obvious she was amazed as well!
AR loving the show! AR with Shamu Mommy
The next show we watched was called Shamu Rock's! Shamu, another killer whale, and a baby Shamu jumped, danced, and splashed to rock n roll music. Daddy and I loved every minute of it but for some reason AR wasn't impressed...ha!
What an amazing experience! The only thing we never got around to doing was feeding the sea animals. Hopefully we can make plans to go back soon!
On Sunday, we slept in and then decided to just go for a Sunday drive {which is one of Mommy's favorite things to do!} After stopping for breakfast, we drove over to one side of town to one of the many malls in San Antonio. Then we decided to drive to the other side of town so AR could nap and to look at some flood damage around the Guadalupe River. We made a stop by the outlet malls, ate a late lunch, and then made our way back to wash clothes and get Daddy ready for another work week.
We have had an amazing time out here in San Antonio and have been thrilled to be able to spend so much time with Daddy!! However, we are getting our bags packed and getting ready to fly back home so we can get ready for baby Westin to make his arrival in a few short weeks! Thankfully, we will get to see a lot of Daddy this summer but not near as much as we would like!
