Since Daddy does not work on the weekends, we decided to take full advantage of his time!
Friday night we went to Dave and Busters. Heath is such a big kid and mentions wanting to go there every time we see their commercials. Since there isn't one in Alabama {that we know of} he was super excited to find out that there is one in San Antonio. Our plan was to eat dinner first and then play games but Daddy AR was too excited to wait. Daddy decided that they needed to go play a few games while I waited on the food to arrive. These two had a blast and I am sure Daddy will be going back..ha!
Saturday we went to Sea World San Antonio. We knew going in that depending on if AR took a nap we would either spend the entire day enjoying the park and then spend the evening watching shows or split the park into 2 days doing rides one day and shows the next.
Our first stop was Journey to Atlantis. I didn't do a very good job capturing the massive splash but Daddy, Uncle Kevin, and Brent got soaked!
As we made our way around to the roller coasters, AR got pretty aggravated having to sit in the stroller. So we treated her to a Shamu ice cream. She loved it!
Daddy has never ridden a roller coaster and so his chicken butt finally got on one. Sea World actually has 2 roller coasters. This one is the Steel Eel but Daddy rode the Great White. He is now hooked. He loved it!!
On the way to the Lost Lagoon Water Park we stopped by the kiddie park and let AR enjoy Shamu's Happy Harbor!
Inside the water park, we ate lunch at Castaway Cafe and were surprised by a really cute show with Shamu and Friends!
AR was exhausted from having no nap but danced and clapped along with the Sea World characters.
After lunch we took her to Lil Gators to slide down the water slides and play in the pool!
We made a few more stops along the way and let "the big boys" ride the bigger slides. However, the water park began to get too crowded and AR refused to take a nap so we knew she wouldn't be in any mood to sit and watch some of the shows. We decided to go ahead and call it a day. Our plan is to go back next weekend to catch Shamu in action along with a few other shows, as well as get up, close, and personal with a few of the sea animals.
Sunday morning we slept in and then went to have a late breakfast at Abel's Diner.
We decided to lay low since we were all so exhausted from Sea World so we spent the afternoon playing at the pool...
and the evening eating yummy craw fish and all the other goodies that got mixed in the boil!!
What a weekend!
Needless to say we are laying low this week because next weekend will be another fun filled one!

I am SO SO glad to see y'all having such a blast in San Antonio. I can't wait to see the pictures of AR getting up close with the sea animals from next weekend.
