On Saturday morning, I put AR in her Easter dress (my dress from my 9 month portraits) for a day of picture taking. A couple of friends of mine told me about these Easter portraits you can have taken in Vincent with real animals. I was told that not only are they extremely adorable, they are also pretty inexpensive. With that being said, Beth and I planned to take the babies to have their pictures made with the baby lamb and bunnies and then take them to Aldridge Gardens to take more Easter/6 month portraits ourselves. The pictures we took at Aldridge Gardens turned out great, but our experience with the live animal pictures was a disaster. Not only were the packages OUTRAGEOUS, the baby animals wanted no part of it. After multiple attempts to get AR + 2 bunny rabbits + baby lamb in perfect position + get goofy photographer to snap the picture = disaster. The same goes with Alston's. Needless to say, we snuck out of there without ordering any pictures and made our way to the gardens. We weren't the only ones with such a bright idea. It was full of children in their Easter clothes and Mommas with cameras! The weather was perfect and all in all, our photo shoot was a success.
