Ava + Alston
Tonight we went to visit Heath's best friend Patrick and his wife, Beth, in the hospital. They just had a beautiful baby boy, Price Alston Scott, on October 9. Heath and Patrick have been best friends since middle school. They are like 2 peas in a pod. Ever since I've known Heath, Patrick has been a big part of his life. Heath and Patrick went to school together, STAYED in trouble together, lived together, and were Best Men in each others wedding. Heath always says that Patrick is more than a best friend, he's a brother he never had. When Heath and I found out we were pregnant, Patrick was number one on Heath's list to call after his parents. We were so excited to find out just a few days later that Patrick and Beth were also pregnant and they were due one week after us. Well Ava Reese was born on October 1, 2008 and eight days later Alston was born. Now Patrick and Heath have something else to share, FATHERHOOD! Their such proud Papas! It is so great to have close friends to go through parenthood with! and those little cuties give me baby fever but sadly those days are gone for us :(
