Ava Reese's Mimi, (my mom) lives in Tifton, GA, which is in South Geogia (about 5 hours away). We were very excited to find out that she took a few days off work to come visit! She arrived late Wednesday night and just left this morning. I love my mom. She came in and took over from the beginning. While she was here we (she) got lots done! As soon as she arrived, she was ready for baby duty. She stayed up till 2:00 with Ava Reese so Heath and I could sleep. Thank goodness Ava Reese is doing great during the night because she slept from 2:00 to 8:00. AWESOME! So Mimi did get some sleep!
On Thursday morning, Mimi got up and got busy. She got us caught up on our laundry, straightened up and organized almost the whole house, cleaned the master bath (which was so nasty), and helped get Ava Reese ready. I had a doctor's appointment at 2:40 so we left the house about 1:00 and went to visit a few relatives (Pops - my dad, Aunt Missy, and Memaw- my grandmother), had lunch a Chic-fil-a, went to the doctor, and then a trip to Target. Ava Reese did great! After we got home, Mimi went to the grocery store for us and then made us a whole bunch of food to last us the weekend! What an AWESOME Mimi. After a busy day like that, she still insisted to stay up with the baby so Heath and I could sleep. So she stayed up till midnight with her. Ava Reese did really well again and slept from 12:00 to 6:30.
Sadly, Mimi had to leave this morning but we are very excited that she will be visiting again next week since it's her Fall Break (she's a third grade teacher)! We can't wait! We sure do love her! THANKS MIMI!!
