Christmas with Pops and JiJi

After spending the early party of the morning opening gifts from Santa at our house, we went to my dad's house to eat breakfast, open presents, and see what Santa brought my little brother, Joseph, who is 5. We got to my dad's house about 8:30 and when we arrived we soon realized that they had a very excited household because Santa Claus brought drums for Joseph my Dad.

After everyone played (well tried to play. My dad is the only one who knows how) with the new drum set for a little while, we decided to hand out and open gifts. Pops and JiJi always do way to much but we got lots of great things.

Joseph's Elf, Latham. Latham gets to stay till New Years Eve because Santa didn't send him till just a few days before Christmas and also because Joseph needs a little extra help in following directions and being on his best behavior. Latham is going to help him with that..

Ava Reese wasn't in much of a mood over there but she did pretty good for the most part. Uncle Stephen loves to give lots of kisses and Auntie Sarah loves taking lots of pictures with/of her so she played along for a little while..but only for a little while..

After we opened presents, took pictures, played with our new toys, and cleaned up the HUGE mess we made, we ate a yummy breakfast casserole that JiJi made. The fun soon came to an end though, because it was time to load up and say our goodbyes. We were off to ANOTHER Christmas gathering.
