MSK & New Interest

Last night AR and I ate dinner with a group of girlfriends at a local Mexican restaurant for my friend Ashley's baby shower. Ashley is having another girl so she didn't want to have a huge baby shower like she did with Harley. Therefore, she gave us a list of her needs for the new baby and decided to have us all get together for a much needed girls night and open gifts. She got a good bit of baby goodies such as diapers, wipes, bibs, baby wash, bottle brushes, summer infant clothes, burp clothes, baby lotion and lots more. We had a great time. We all have children now and we laughed at how our conversations have changed so much since pre-baby times. Ashley is due June 8th and as soon as baby girl makes her appearance, I will share pictures and her name. For now, her initials are MSK....hmmm?

AR was on her best behavior. She is going through this stage right now where she likes to play shy. She will make lots of noise to get your attention and then when you give her your attention she hides behind her hands and gives you such a bashful look. It's actually quit funny. She did this to KK {Karen} all night.

Do you remember back in December when baby Jaylen was born? This is her now at almost 5 months old. She still looks just like her Daddy and is such a sweet girl. She and AR are going to be the best of friends {they are only 3 months apart}

SO what's AR been up to?

Well, she is officially a crawler. She hasn't mastered the moves completely but she can sure get somewhere. Of course, since she can go where ever she wants now, she is into everything. Her new favorite things to do are:

Find her bottle and feed herself. She will take a drink of her bottle, throw it down on the floor to go play and then crawl back to her bottle, roll on her back and drink a little bit more. She does this over and over and over.

Climb out of things. If she is in her car seat without being buckled, she climbs out. I put her in baskets just so she can find her way out of them. She also has started pulling herself up on her knees in her crib trying to get out.

She loves playing with her car seat. I guess she likes the buckle but she will lay in it on her belly and play for a while.

She likes to play ball. Nana got her a big inflatable ball for Easter and she loves it when we roll it to her. She'll catch it and play with it for a second and then let go so we can roll it back to her.

Needless to say, she is quit fun now!
