{Saturday}

Saturday morning AR woke us up at day break. I think she has started having bad dreams and so she woke us up with a panic scream. My mom and Stan heard her of course so the whole house was up by 7:00. When Popa Stan looked out the window, he noticed a few visitors on their front lawn. Yes.. about 7 deer. When I told Daddy that there was a herd of deer outside he shot out of the bed like a cannon. It was quit funny! We tried to get a good picture of deer without startling them but that just didn't happen. We had to take pictures through the window so they are blurry.

After we ate a yummy breakfast that MiMi made we got ready for the day. AR was in rare form so Popa Stan took her for a walk while we finished getting ready.

Since Heath and I have never really been to North Georgia, we decided to spend the day driving to a couple of different cities and sight seeing. Our first stop was the park in Blairsville. On our way we drove by this beautiful waterfall.

It was amazing so of course we had to take a picture in front of it. AR missed out on this picture because she was asleep in the car. We then drove on to Cleveland, GA {the home of the Cabbage Patch Kids}. So guess what we did? When went to Babyland!!

Babyland is the hospital where Cabbage Patch Kids are born. While we were there, they announce over the intercom that "Momma Cabbage" had dilated 8 leaves and was due to deliver any minute if we wanted to see a new baby being born. Of course we weren't going to miss that so we walked over to the tree were Momma Cabbage was. They then announced that she was at 9 leaves dilated and called the doctor in. When the doctor came in he checked her and she was dilated to 10 leaves and was ready to deliver. Before he delivered the baby he wanted to do an ultrasound to see if we were going to witness a boy or girl baby being born.Since the screen turned pink, it meant it was a girl. Seconds later, he delivered a baby cabbage patch doll. The doctor asked the audience to name her. Two children yelled out their own names and so we named her Jordan Hope :). It was really cute!

After our Cabbage Patch experience, we ate a light lunch at a local creek side restaurant and hit the road for more sight seeing and shops.

Our next stop was Clarkesville, GA. We were really just passing through while heading to a final destination and decided to stop at this little shop called Mark of the Potter. Next to the shop was another beautiful waterfall.

After feeding some of the biggest trout I have ever seen, taking a quick look at all of the pottery, and of course, taking a few pictures, we got back on the road.

Our final destination: Helen, GA.

I have heard many people talk about Helen, GA but I had never been there. We took a stroll down the street to watch the tubers float down the creek. There was a huge motorcycle gathering and AR was not happy with noise of the motorcycles. After we visited a few shops and stopped by the general store for refreshments, we got on the road and drove back through the mountains to Blairsville. We had dinner reservations at a river side restaurant Saturday evening so we came back for a quick nap and a change of clothes before we headed to dinner. Our evening ended with a cup of coffee and Funniest Home Videos.

Oh what an amazing day!
